I was thinking of posting an ad on “Match.com“
I also have a speech impediment, I stutter. Do you think that I should mention that in the ad or let the person know when they first make contact?
I know that some ladies have a problem with it, and I understand.

The beauty of internet romances, is that your partner gets to see inside the ‘real you’ without being distracted by an impediments or disabilities. Personally, I was overweight, but on the internet it didn’t matter, because we are all the same size here. Your stutter isn’t so important on the internet.
I do appreciate that you understand some women are put off by a stutter. I don’t think you need to put it in your personals ad, but it would be nice of you to explain once you have made contact with a woman.
